Today my daughter and I took a trip to one of the local farmers markets. After our breakfast of market fresh breakfast tacos, we did a little shopping for some veggies. There were so many colorful veggies out I think I ended up getting a little of everything that I don't already have growing in my garden.
The first picture is of some Root veggies and cabbage for sale at the market, just beautiful! Then a picture of some rainbow colored chard, followed by my farmers market haul. I can't wait to eat it all!
I also stopped by the grocery store and picked up an organic sweet potato to so that I can start to make my sweet potato slips to plant in April. I will post pictures of the process so you all can follow along if you want to grow your own sweet potatoes as well. First step purchase a good organic sweet potato. Check!
Stay tuned tomorrow for step 2!

Love this site...gardening is heart lifting and plan to use your celery idea as soon as our Minnesota weather warms up. I would pick the yellow and blue/grey cover as it reminds of the spring sun and sky.
