Laptop Bag Care

I get several emails a month asking about how to care for our laptop bags, so I thought I would do a post about it for all the Kailo Chic customers out there.

Our damask satchel and black hexagon classic laptop bags are either waterproof laminated canvas or polyester and can be cleaned with just a damp rag.

For our casual laptop bags which are untreated canvas printed with vegetable based dyes, we highly recommend scotch guarding your bag before you begin using it. This way the bag will repel dirt and make it easy to clean your bag if it happens to get spilled on or dirty. If you scotch guard your bag, you can clean off any dirt with a damp rag.

If you have already been using your bag without scotch guarding it, I recommend doing it right away. If your bag has already gotten dirty, we recommend taking it to the dry cleaners.

One last word of advice, don't wash your bags in the washing machine. This will cause your bag to fade considerably. I hope this helps all of you care for your laptop bag and keep it fresh and clean for years to come.
